Greater Kennebunks Restaurant Week (GKRW) is almost here.
Kids are getting the royal treatment at Seafood Center of Maine on Sat., 10/4, and Sun, 10/5.
We thought we offered the best kids meal deal. Then last weekend, my husband went ice cream crazy.
Just for this Saturday and Sunday night, we are creating a soft-serve ice cream sundae toppings bar, starting at 5 pm. This ice cream buffet comes as part of our kids meal, at no extra charge. But only for this weekend.
We are bringing in kids entertainment from 5pm-6pm on Saturday and Sunday. Jim DesRosiers is providing balloon artistry. We will have face painters both nights. With any luck, parents, you will be able to watch your little one become completely immersed in fun and magic, while you sip an adult beverage and try to finish that sentence from that conversation you started with your loved one about a week ago.
This is how I’d like you (and me!) to celebrate Restaurant Week.
Have a great weekend. I hope we don’t let another year pass until I blog again.

p.s.: Have I sold you on cheese curds yet?
